Another T-Ball Game

We had another T-Ball game on Saturday and Karson is getting pretty good at hitting the ball, pretty hard he is a strong 4 year old. He nailed the ball and the kid on the other team wasn't paying attention and got hit in the stomach. After Karson was done running the bases I told him to go tell the little boy he was sorry for hitting him. My sweet boy marches right on over to tell him he was sorry gave him high five and knuckles and comes back so proud of himself. He is such a great sport and not shy at all..

Memorial Day

Well since we were home early from our camping trip because of the rain, we decided to go pay our respects to Chance's family. Every year Chance has put a bullet on his dad's headstone. This year Karson & Kage got to put the bullets on. Karson asks alot of questions about his Grandpa Thayne always wanting to know where he is and why he died. Thayne died from MS in April 2000 way to young.

The boys needed a drink after walking around the cemetery.

Memorial Weekend

We went camping for Memorial Day Weekend up to Current Creek. It was cold and rained almost the entire time we were there and we were not prepared no lumpies for the boys, extra shoes, needless to say we came home Sunday.

Here are the boys helping the big boys gather wood for the fire. They are such great helpers!

Kenzie, Jessie and Willie all got to come on this trip with us. Poor Kenzie is getting so old she was worn out by the time we came home.

Another Weekend of Yardwork!

Well we worked in the yard again this weekend. The front is pretty much done, we planted 2 more trees in the park strip. Chance's favorite flower we planted is the purple delphinium's. Now we just need to start on the backyard..... But we need to plant a money tree first ;o)

April 27, 2009

Today was Kage's 2nd Birthday and man was it a crazy day....Mom, Dad, Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Chuck stayed at my house last night so that we could all go to Uncle Ivan's funeral so I dropped my boys off to daycare and went to my meeting for about an hour, then I headed up to Midway for the funeral, it was a beautiful service and man Doug Pope did an AMAZING job on his talk (as did everyone else). I am not sure what it is but when Doug sings I just sit back and enjoy every minute, I love to listen to him sing..I keep telling him I would be the first one to buy his album!!!! It was nice to see everyone. Then as I got in my car to head home my daycare calls and said that Kage tripped and cut his head open, I made it from Midway to Saratoga Springs in 43 minutes, it was a fast trip!!!! We went to Alpine Pediatrics to have his head looked at, better safe then sorry I thought. Kage was such a brave little boy all he said when the Doctor was cleaning his head was "ouch" he held very still and instead of stitches they used glue which is nice, less traumatic for Kage and no needles!!! So Kage will have a Happy 2nd Birthday Scar to always remember.... Chance also went to the Doctor today to get a pre-melanoma mole cut out of his back...Crazy Day!!! I am glad that one is over!!! Happy Birthday Kage!!!!

Happy Birthday Kage 4-27-09!

I can't believe my baby is 2!!!! Time sure flies, it seems like just yesterday I had him (All the memories of delivery are still very fresh in my mind!!!). We celebrated Kage's Birthday on Sunday the 26th. Chance's Mom, Chase and Caylie came over and my Mom and Dad came up so we decided it would be a great time to have a little party. Kage got some great gifts, Thank you everyone. We gave him a new big wheel he loves to play outside and ride his bike. Kage you are a sweet boy Mommy loves you very much!!!!

Kage loved his cake, thanks to Alberston's for having one he would love already made!!! I was not prepared this year...Kage loves trucks and cars so this one was perfect. And he loved to eat it as you can see!!!!
